Just wanted to share a few videos that I came across last week. The first I noticed because Evan Rosell posted it on his twitter. It shows an 8 Month Old infant having his cochlear implant turned on for the first time. The video is really incredible - check it out
The next is a video I first saw at this years Neuroscience Conference in Chicago at a nanosymposium. The work comes from Dr. Schwartz's lab at Pittsburgh. One thing that is not mentioned in the article on IEEE about this video is that the monkey was not lesioned and essentially has control over three arms when hooked up to this machine. I look forward to seeing the published results.
And the last video is one I just found entertaining. It is the new music video from OK Go, the group with the popular treadmill video. It apparently was quite the undertaking considering it is a massive Rube Goldberg machine timed to the music.
